I’m Sam Linsell, and welcome to my recipe, food, and travel newsletter. I’m a passionate cook and cookbook author based in Cape Town South Africa.

Cooking and baking are my biggest adventures, and I’ve been a professional food stylist, recipe developer, digital food content creator, and food photographer for over a decade. I share my recipes on my website Drizzleanddip.com.

My background is a mix of hospitality management and food brand marketing which has helped me in my solo entrepreneur career. I wrote my first cookbook in 2012; the second one, ‘Sweet’ was published in 2015 by Penguin Random House South Africa.

My third cookbook is an ebook which I published in 2021 called Comfort

I’m always up for a travel adventure especially when it involves delicious food.
